Dial-a-Ride

Avondale contracts through the City of Phoenix to provide residents with a Dial-A-Ride Service. This service is in compliance with federal regulations. The City of Avondale offers an Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Service to eligible persons who, because of a disability, cannot use Valley Metro fixed-route bus service. Please view
what is needed for ADA service.
Fixed Route Bus Service
Fixed-route bus service offers citizens transportation alternatives to locations within the city of Avondale and throughout the Valley. Currently, the city of Avondale funds four local routes and one express routes to downtown Phoenix. Click on each route for times and maps of service.

Taxi Subsidy Program

The City of Avondale is pleased to provide a taxi-subsidy for persons with special transportation needs. The program is designed to assist people making repetitive trips for medical treatments and therapies. View the

The Federal Transit Administration has afforded protection for the public against discrimination through Title VI. View the
Title VI Circular. Residents are able to contact this office directly to file and Title VI or discrimination complaints. Avondale is a sub-recipient to Phoenix and therefore follows the City of Phoenix complaint process on Title VI issues. Please
